Raising the Bar in Baseball Training Excellence
When it comes to baseball camps, Players Edge Baseball Academy is working hard to raise the bar in training excellence for today's young ball players. Whether it's on the field or in our new 20,000 square foot facility, we utilize Major League instructional methods and drills that allow students to participate in a truly comprehensive program that covers all aspects of the game.
Our mission is a two step approach: To provide all Players Edge students with instruction and training in the critical fundamentals of the game it takes to win on and off the baseball diamond, while fostering and maintaining a fun and safe group environment for child to learn and grow.
Under the direct supervision of former Florida Marlins catcher Andy Raffa, our baseball camps are taught and led by a unique staff of current and former professional players and coaches, as well as occasional special guest appearances. It is the dedication and commitment to quality training that continues has and continues to make Players Edge Baseball Academy a distinct leader in South Florida's Baseball Community.

| Eligibility: | We offer baseball camps for players ages 6 and up. | |
| Classes: | Players Edge Academy's offers students comprehensive training in hitting, bunting, base-running, position-specific defensive classes, infield and outfield training, pitching, catching, and much more. | |

| Fees and Rates: | $275 | |
| Requirements: | Player should always wear appropriate clothing for the activity at hand, including baseball pants and hat, baseball cleats, and appropriate protective gear. Depending on the location of and type of instruction being given, player may also need additional equipment, such as tennis shoes and sneakers for our indoor training facility and certain running drills. Catchers MUST bring their own catching gear. We also strongly encourage all students to wear a protective cup and to bring their own batting helmets for health and safety reasons. | |
| General Requirements: | To be a great player requires discipline and dedication! We require all students arrive at camp with a strong desire and commitment to learn, regardless of a participants current abilities. More importantly, we require that all Players Edge students to conduct themselves in a professional, sportsman-like manner on and off the fields. The Academy reserves the right to dismiss any student for any misconduct. |
